ADF celebrates 52nd March for Life, remains steadfast in pro-life efforts

Friday, Jan 24, 2025

The following quote may be attributed to Alliance Defending Freedom CEO, President, and General Counsel Kristen Waggoner regarding Friday’s 52nd annual March for Life in Washington, D.C.:

“The March for Life is an annual reminder of how far the pro-life movement has come—and how far we have yet to go.

“We rejoice that Roe v. Wade is gone and many states are now freely protecting life. But we must prioritize undoing the destructive policies the Biden administration imposed: from mail-order abortion drugs to a Department of Justice weaponized against pro-life Americans.

“The pro-life message is one of compassion, joy, and hope—and that’s a message that can win. All Americans should be able to agree that women shouldn’t be left to take high-risk abortion drugs without the ongoing care of a doctor, that pregnancy centers shouldn’t be harassed by pro-abortion state officials, and that states shouldn’t try to stop women from getting Abortion Pill Reversal treatment.

“We march today because we care about women, children, and families. Women deserve better than abortion, pregnancy centers deserve our support, and every human life is precious and worthy of protection.”

Alliance Defending Freedom is an alliance-building, non-profit legal organization committed to protecting religious freedom, free speech, parental rights, and the sanctity of life.
